But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

HOMESCHOOL HELP
Being a homeschool mom means learning how to do things you thought you already knew—all over again. Like actually teaching.
Shortly after beginning this journey, I realized my son is not the type of learner I am. While we both love books, he detests workbooks. And sitting still. He skipped learning how to write the alphabet in favor of drawing lions—that actually look like lions.
We are a different kind of family, and I saw that I was going to have to take a different path than what’s often shown on social media to support this young, brilliant mind. That realization led me to create learning resources that are tailored just for him—centered around books, play, and activities that align with national and local learning standards while honoring his curiosity and developmental needs. Dinos and Donuts was a blast! It may be the only thing better, for the time being, than camping. We’ve revisited both more than once.
With this being stated, in my heart I know I can’t be the only one who could use a little homeschooling help. And because finding quality resources for children like mine can be such a challenge, I’d like to share what I’ve created with you.

MY HOMESCHOOL BLOG

We know already that God is love. It’s a simple statement, but for some of us there’s a process to truly learning and being perfected by this truth. That’s not because we are not intelligent. It’s because God's love is truly divine. (And we… just… ain’t.) The Bible gives us permission (and grace) to not fully comprehend God’s love (Ephesians 3:14-19). But I do believe the limits of our understanding are due to, in part, to our own human experience and the multifaceted existence of His love. He speaks in many ways (Hebrews 1:1) and I’ve found that He loves in many ways, too. (Like not saying yes to some of our requests, but I’ll save that topic for later.)
